My wife and I hired Joshua Vause to remodel our master bathroom. The remodel project included demolition of existing lighting, mirrors, dry wall, garden tub, shower and all existing attachments, towel racks, hooks, hangers, vent fans with associated piping, drains, and plumbing. The vinyl flooring was also removed.
Mr. Vause assisted us in our decisions, purchasing, and arranging delivery of materials purchased in support of our project. His knowledge, experience and ability to guide clients through these projects proved to be invaluable.
The new project included new lighting, mirrors, faucets, tub, shower, tile flooring and drywall. Our shower, tub, and closet required major revisions involving extensive carpentry work. As I was concerned about the method of installation of new tile flooring, I did some research and learned much about it. When I asked Mr. Vause about his intentions, he walked me through the process in a manner that completely satisfied my concerns and gave me confidence that the job would be done to meet and exceed my expectations.
Mr. Vause proved to be reliable, trustworthy, and dependable. His estimates were concise and accurate. The project lasted about three weeks as he estimated. During this time, he gained our confidence and trust to the point where we felt free to leave the premises while he was working. We have the utmost confidence and trust in him.

My wife and I are writing to highly recommend Louie Vause as a contractor who helped us remodel several areas of our home. He has shown great skill in carpentry by re-framing walls and building an entirely new floor joist system for us in our master bathroom and closet/pantry. He has also repaired and replaced drywall and installed new floor and wall tile for us. He is very polite, professional, and keeps a clean, safe workspace which I very much appreciate. We first hired Vause Remodeling and Repair to replace glass doors going to our deck. The first thing Louie noticed was that the door that I had was leaning in towards the house. Instead of just replacing the doors he investigated why and found that the bricks on the outside were to high. He then removed and replaced the bricks and installed the doors correctly.
After he completed that job we hired him to remodel our sunroom and living room. This entailed repairing ceiling and subfloors, painting (wainscoting and spindles), adding recessed lights, covering the brick fireplace with stone, put on a new mantle, installing a TV over the fireplace, removing the old carpet and replacing it with vinyl planks, replacing ceiling fans, and other items.
As he was remodeling the rooms, my wife was looking forward to coming home from work and seeing the improvements that were completed. When he was completed with the rooms the it looked completely different and we we’re very pleased with the new look. A few weeks afterwards we hosted a family Christmas, everyone was amazed by the changes of the rooms and complimented us on the new look and the quality of the work.
During the remodeling process Louie took the time to answer our questions or concerns that we had. He was willing to give his opinion on colors, flooring, and any other questions we had without makings us feel we had to use his opinions. We have other remodeling projects planned and will be using Louie for these projects.
